Proper installation of your inflatable seals into the retaining system is crucial for their operation. A common feature of retainers is a machined groove. This feature, when requested or required due to the application, allows for easy installation.
Before installation, make sure to identify the inflation stem and line it up with the precut hole on the retainer. Then the inflatable seal can be easily snapped into the retainer by hand. If there are any issues, you may need to use a soft item to snap the seal into place or apply soapy water to ease the seal into place.
A retaining system assists inflatable products by providing a stable platform and reliable duty cycle. Retainers also help protect inflatables from damage but do not affect their operation. We can manu-facture retaining systems in several different shapes and sizes. They can also be made from a variety of materials depending on the specific environments your inflatable products are exposed.
