Material Selection, Selected for You

Our inflatable seals are not simple extrusions. Each seal is custom engineered and molded specifically for each client’s needs to ensure optimum performance for long-term operation. 

When it comes to the specific materials used, our design team will determine the best elastomers based on environmental concerns and application. 

We use a variety of materials such as butyl, Neoprene, natural rubber, silicone, and polyurethane to name a few. 

Material Standards

At Seal Master we use only tested and certified materials in order to develop quality products. We hold ourselves, and our suppliers, to the highest quality standards in order to guarantee our customers the products they deserve. 

Each and every polymer batch of material that is received, we require report certifications stating that the product has met all testing requirements and a supplier certification that states the batch has met the specified requirements for the desired material. 

Our quality department reviews each report and reviews them before releasing materials for production. Materials are stored in a climate controlled environment and all products are tested before leaving our facility.
